Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Chef Joe received a degree in culinary arts from the Art Institutes International Minnesota in Minneapolis. He has spent his cooking career at various restaurants and catering establishments in the Twin Cities and Saint Cloud, including ownership of Silver Spoon Catering in Saint Cloud. He has most recently been the Executive Chef of The Alcott Restaurant before joining the Levy family as Executive Sous Chef at Target Center and then as Executive Chef of Herbie’s on the Park this year.
Chef Joe particularly enjoys preparing approachable, straightforward American cuisine with an emphasis on cooking from scratch and using local and seasonal ingredients. Chef Joe also brings solid experience with special events and hospitality leadership. He loves working collaboratively with his kitchen team to craft the best possible dining experience for their guests.
Outside the kitchen, he is a passionate Minnesota sports fan and loves spending as much time as possible with his wife, Jen and two children, Kai and Nell.
Raised just south of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Christina’s passion to be in the food and beverage industry began at a young age. Gaining experience in restaurants throughout high school and college, including abroad in Peterborough, England; Christina realized her college undergraduate path in architecture only led to restaurant design. She decided to put graduate school on hold and pursue this desire in continuing her way into restaurant management. She has most recently been the General Manager of Fern’s Bar and Grill before joining the Levy family as Assistant General Manager of Herbie’s on the Park.
Christina particularly enjoys producing an elevated environment for both employees and guests. She brings solid experience and enjoyment into creating special events and crafting the best guest experience possible.
Outside the restaurant, you can find Christina spending time with her friends and family enjoying local cuisine or exploring the north shore.
